Take my husband to work day

Monday. Kind of cool. John and I were both sent to the same seminar here in town. Since we are both trainers where we work, the training was specific to our jobs. It was like a trainers Day Camp. It was fun to be together for work and have lunch together too. I am signed up for tomorrow but John will be back to his normal work schedule.

It has turned cold and rainy so the countdown has begun for our CRUISE!! I feel like I am getting sick and it better go away by the time we get ready to leave. errrr.

We have not done much in Lucy's room lately. My sister n law just gave us a whole box full of things for her. She has a lot of people here thinking of her and making sure when she arrives that she is well dressed. :) I wonder what she is doing right now.

Anyways, I am sick of typing so there.

Weekend Stuff

Another beautiful day around here...John is off to his dancing singing Italian barber to get his hair cut and I am laying around. I would like to be outside but seems to be so many wasps and my stomach hurts. I am starting to get packed for our trip/cruise. We have some clothes set aside but it is crunch time now. I have come to accept this will not be a bikini trip for me and realize that I could not possibly be the whitest person on the ship...could I????

Regardless, I am ready to get out of dodge, see new things and eat yummy food. Not being at work for a while is also putting a smile on my face. :) I will be happy for John to get away. He has worked really hard the last year and could definitely use a break.

We hope to have my two brothers over for a cook out tomorrow. Other than that nothing new under the sun.

600 days

Well we are officially 602 days waiting for our baby.
Never thought that would happen. kinda crazy.

Have you ever watched a pot boil? How about watching paint dry? Ever wait for grass to grow? excruciating.

Feeling slightly lazy and everyone told me I looked tired today. Super.

How many days till our cruise???? I wish it was here NOW. and I know John does too. He had a stinky day at work. Stupid People. It is hard to explain but some people are jealous of him and they act like 3 year olds. If I could I would march in there and say a few things that are on my mind. He is at the gym taking the stress out on a treadmill as I sit on the couch eating cookies.

Anyways, that is it. Nothing too exciting.

Spring Fever!!!

The sun is sort of shining and the temps feel much better. Looking forward to tomorrow even more' cuz it will be warmer. Lots of spring cleaning to do though.

We also spent part of the day planning for our cruise coming up SOON! yipee. Planning horseback riding on the beach, dolphin swim(for John), Segway tour in Puerto Rico and beaches, beaches beaches. Let's do the Sun dance now!!! The only down side is bathing suits!! eeks.

ARUBASt Maarten- This is a real beach (and real picture) that has an airport next to it. CRAZY!!
Then after the trip, doing some yard stuff-always fun. We will be opening the pool, getting ready for cookouts and pool fun.Then hope that we hear some good news someday soon about Lucy. (It will be a while but summer will help with the wait)
